Women's Circle (Yoga7even, Quincy, IL)
Join Dr. Casie Danenhauer, pelvic floor physical therapist, women's health educator, and retreat leader for a Women's Circle Tuesday from 6:30pm- 8pm. Casie will join the Yoga7even community to discuss the cyclical nature that is inherent to our experience as women. She will lead a discussion relevant to all ages and experiences of womanhood (this will include discussion about the pelvic floor!) and leave space for the healing moments that take place when groups of women sit in circle. There will be a guided meditation, experiential exercises, and a bonus sound bath.
All who identify as women or teen girls may join.
Casie Danenhauer, Doctor of Physical Therapy and yoga instructor led a sold out pelvic health workshop last year at Yoga7even. She is the owner of Enlighten Physical Therapy: Conscious Care for Pelvic Health in Santa Monica, CA. Her mission is to provide conscious care for her clients by finding balance between evidence-based science and an integrative consideration of the physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual systems for maximizing whole body health.
Dr. Casie sees clients privately for pelvic floor physical therapy and in teaches in group settings through pelvic health wellness events including her Retreat to Your Root retreats and workshops. She also teaches and lectures at professional conferences and continuing education courses.
Mind, Body, Core and the Pelvic Floor (Joy of Yoga, St. Louis, MO)
Join Casie Danenhauer, DPT, RYT for a workshop exploring the pelvic floor and women's empowerment. Through this immersion you'll learn how to enhance your pelvic health through yoga and connect with women in the community on a new level. The first portion of the workshop will include a discussion of the anatomy, function, and energetic components of the pelvis/pelvic floor. Discussion will include common issues relating to the pelvic floor including:
painful intercourse or other sexual difficulties
pregnancy, childbirth, and post-natal concerns
painful periods
pain with sitting
bowel or bladder difficulties
feeling disconnected from your body
feeling unsafe or unsupported in your life
Casie will then lead a gentle yoga class focused on incorporating core and pelvic floor awareness throughout the flow. Class will end with a guided meditation and time for discussion or questions. Come explore how mindful awareness, breathing techniques, and gentle movement can improve your connection to your core and pelvic floor and enhance your life. Class is for women only in an effort to create a safe place for learning and sharing.

Retreat To Your Root: A Yoga-based Retreat for Body, Mind, and Soul Healing of the Pelvic Floor
Retreat to Your Root and reach for the stars at Cactus Moon Retreat Center in Joshua Tree, CA! Join Casie Danenhauer PT, DPT and CYT for a retreat focused on pelvic health, the pelvic floor, and the healing the divine feminine. The weekend will feature yoga-based methods addressing pelvic health concerns and healing pelvic floor dysfunction. Retreat to Your Root is open to women with interest in pelvic health and is specifically designed towards those with pelvic pain, issues with bowel/bladder/sexual function, or are just curious about the mind-body connection.
Casie will include daily in-depth instructions in physical yoga postures as well as a variety of breathing techniques and meditations specifically to benefit the pelvic floor. In an effort to share her passion of holistic healthcare she will also lead educational discussions on topics including pelvic floor anatomy and physiology, the mind/body connection related to pelvic pain, the energetic connections to the pelvic floor, and the main purpose of the retreat; the importance of self-care and inner-work.
