Women's Circle (Yoga7even, Quincy, IL)
Join Dr. Casie Danenhauer, pelvic floor physical therapist, women's health educator, and retreat leader for a Women's Circle Tuesday from 6:30pm- 8pm. Casie will join the Yoga7even community to discuss the cyclical nature that is inherent to our experience as women. She will lead a discussion relevant to all ages and experiences of womanhood (this will include discussion about the pelvic floor!) and leave space for the healing moments that take place when groups of women sit in circle. There will be a guided meditation, experiential exercises, and a bonus sound bath.

“Rooted in Wellness: A Yoga and Fitness Retreat for Women” is the hybrid of Bri’s FemFusion approach to women’s health and Casie’s passion for yoga and the pelvic floor, which she has been sharing as “Retreat to Your Root” for groups of women throughout the United States. Both women have dedicated their careers towards healing and elevating women through education, movement, and building community. Their collaboration for “Rooted In Wellness” is the culmination of years of private practice as physical therapists, as fitness and yoga instructors, and as women who truly feel called to empower themselves and others through the mind-body-soul connection.
The retreat will take place over 7 nights / 8 days at a private villa on the beautiful coast of Morocco. Bri and Casie will lead yoga and fitness classes focused on women’s health and wellness ranging from vinyasa yoga, gentle flow, and restorative yoga to belly dancing and safe core strengthening. Breath work, meditation, and journaling will be incorporated daily. In an effort to share their passion of holistic healthcare Bri and Casie will also lead educational discussions on topics including the pelvic floor, the mind/body connection, the energy body, the divine feminine, and the importance of self-care and inner-work as women in today’s world. Join Casie Danenhauer, DPT for a lecture and discussion exploring the healing potential that sits in our pelvic floors. Casie will review the anatomy, physiology, and function of the pelvic floor as the basis for our discussion. She will share her experience and success as a physical therapist working on anatomical structures as a key to pain relief, increased vitality, improved sexual function, and a more fulfilled life. Common conditions/ concerns that Casie addresses in her pelvic floor practice include:
- painful intercourse or other sexual difficulties
- pregnancy, childbirth, and post-natal concerns
- painful periods
- pain with sitting and/or postural difficulties

- chronic low back pain, fibromyalgia, impaired immune system
